Cheers! A Sundowner When the Anchor is Set

The islands of the Grenadines are dotted with informal beach bars and cafes.  Almost every spit of land with a curve of sand and a few palm trees is likely to offer mariners (and landlubbers) an inviting spot for some refreshment. Especially come 5 o’clock, most cruising sailors want nothing more than for the anchor to be securely down (before the light becomes unreliable for reef navigation) and an agreeable place to view the sunset, a cold glass of something restoring in hand. Here are some of my favorites, remote, particular, memorable.
